The Incredible Journey
of
"Nothing But Worship" Tour 2006
All we can say is WOW! God really blessed each and every individual person that toured this year! God’s people blessed us all across the globe! From the beginning to the end! The Hospitality of the different Pastors and their congregation, hotel accommodations, meals, the interviews, TV tapings and everything had God's thumb print all on it! It was an incredible journey!

We set out to minister to the masses and God, in returns, really blessed us all! We received a fortified Word, Pastor John, wrote and recorded some awesome songs he wrote while traveling, some of us were personally visited with the favor of God- His blessing literally overwhelming us to the point of "Nothing But Worship" of Him, because of who he is and will continue to be to us!

To all of our newfound brothers and sisters in Christ- We encourage you to keep the experiences alive! Remember the personal Word of the Lord that was given to you during this tour! Remember it is in order that you praise Him, Faith is the substance and it is yours, because you do have a right now praise, no matter the circumstances! From John P. Kee all the way around to the singers and musicians... We bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! May He shadow your life with His presence, cover you with His mighty hand, order your steps in His righteousness and bless you beyond measure!

WE LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU for a successful tour!

Savannah, GA
Last night was awesome! We didn't arrive until 8:45. We were told, that because of the sound requirements the company had to bring in more equipment. Nevertheless, the people anxiously awaited the gospel concert of the year in Savannah, GA. The contemporary music was well received but I could tell there were true traditional music lovers in this audience. They shouted and screamed for songs like He'll Welcome Me, Standing in the Need, Thank You Lord, We Walk By Faith and I Believe. Pastor Kee did not ignore them. He honored all of their requests!

In the middle of the praise service the high school football team walked into the gymnasium. They were returning from an away game. After being informed that the team had won, Pastor Kee blessed one of the teammates for politely walking through the service and ministered about young men being respectful. I often times say my dad is a workaholic…I am definitely right and last night proved that.

Even though he has been trying to get over a cold for the last few days, the audience would have never known! He ministered and sung for two hours to this audience. Then, he took twenty minutes to rest, cleared the gym, and got the band together to record four tracks for an upcoming release. We headed to the hotel to retire for the night. See you tomorrow in Atlanta!

Baton Rouge, LA
Just when I thought it could not get any better, we pulled up to Living Faith Cathedral Christian Center. It was packed to capacity and it held at least 3,500 people. They were so nice to us that Pastor Kee could not stop complimenting them. They introduced my dad and the reception made me warm inside. They would not stop applauding and it turned into genuine Worship. If I had to categorize the service, let me be the first to say it was not a concert.

Dad ministered the power of seed and harvest. The people were so receptive, that they laid thousands of dollars at the altar. Though some would look at the financial element of this experience, we praised God because we saw the faith increase in the people of God.

Pastor Kee did not rush. He gave them new, old and everything between. He stood the Pastor up, Pastor Raymond Johnson, and gave his wife $1,000 dollars to take him to dinner. Then he said in the spirit of his beautiful wife, Sister Johnson could have the change. The church roared with Praise! Sis Johnson danced for a while...

The Altar call reminded me of New Life. After my dad extended the invitation the people of God swarmed the altar and what a time/ Celebration we had. The concert was awesome and the people would not leave. God truly blessed us in Baton Rouge.

As for the product (Clocks) there are no more. Baton Rouge took a little of Pastor John P Kee home with them. What a blessing!
Ya girl Shannon

PS: Li'l Rufus did his thang! Pastor Kee also hinted that he might record his next Video in Baton Rouge. The people went crazy
Oklahoma City

Wow is what I felt as we drove up to Judah Christian Fellowship in Oklahoma City. There was absolutely nowhere to park, sit, stand or walk. The saints had really come out to witness the powerful message of Pastor John P Kee. Pastor started the concert with a rendition of a sultry Praise song called "You're Welcome." Then the High energy began. From Prepare to Lord do it to Walk by Faith, God of mercy, Oh how wondrous... It was a night to remember. They also sang a song they wrote on the bus. It was one of the hottest songs of the evening, entitled “ Glorious is thy Name.”
What a service.

Oh!... and one more thing, Pastor sang a song that was written for his North Carolina based Church Choir called, "It Shall Be" all I can say is Oklahoma will never be the same. He ministered in the alter call that it's important to always Praise God with the spirit of expectancy. He shared how he was truly a happily married man and he thanked God for having a praying wife that respected and understood ministry. As he put it, "She's my sweetie."

The night before the concert, one of the singers began to praise God for having only three or four payments left on her car. In 'Pastor Kee fashion', he pulled out a checkbook and paid it off. He said, If she could believe God, He could celebrate with her. He shared how the enemy has really set out to destroy his foundation but with laughter he said, No weapon (conspiracy) formed against me shall prosper. From the bus to the crowded arenas, Denny's to Christian Centers, I have received a confirmed word on this tour! Gotta get ready for Baton Rouge. Holla tomorrow!
Peace, Daddy's baby girl Shannon...
San Diego, CA
We pressed our way after lunch to San Diego. When we arrived, the saints were already praising God. What an awesome concert. Pastor honored Elder Jesse, a Church of God in Christ icon, that mentored many famous preaches throughout the country including Pastor Kee. Pastor Kee did a mixture of wonderful songs both traditional and contemporary. We had a glorious time. Pastor took us to breakfast and then to the hotel. Because of the playoffs and the Chargers games, there were no more hotels in this city. We finally found 8 E-zy 8 Hotel. Though some had concerns, Pastor Kee purchased the rooms and gave them the option. I asked Pastor Kee the next morning how did he sleep? He smiled and said I thank God for the EZy 8. It was the best sleep he had had all tour. He tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Don’t ever forget where you came from". He smiled and we were on our way to Los Angeles.

Los Angeles, CA
It’s 11am and we show up at Radio Station KJLH. Pastor Kee gave Miche’ money to feed the choir, but I was privileged to go with him to the interview. He was interviewed by Andre Russell, one of the hottest Gospel FM radio announcers in the country. When I say he had himself together, he had himself together. He played more cuts in 30 muinutes than I have heard in three months. He gave greetings from Stevie Wonder. Oh, yes Stevie Wonder owns the station. He took a phone call from gracious fans and the interview was fabulous. He invited people the the LA concert, it was actually in Santa Ana. Ms. Jeanette tapped him and told him that the church was already packed. We wrapped up the interview. On the way out of the door Mary, Mary called Pastor Kee and congratulated him. I thought that was exciting. They are one of my favorite groups.

Santa Ana, CA
We arrive at Second Baptist in Santa Ana. The crowed actually puzzled me, but they were really a mixture of all ages. As the opening group sang every time the MC would mention Pastor Kee’s name the crowd would roar with excitement. I witnessed the ministry of Fred Martin and the Levites. This was a group I had seen on Oprah and Dr. Phil. They were absolutely wonderful. And then the moment everybody had been waiting on… they announced Pastor John P. Kee and New Life. They opened with a high energy praise – "Prepare Your Hearts for Worship" then pastor acknowledged and celebrated the ministry of Rodena Preston. He gave her a wonderful flower arrangement and a huge painting of her brother. Pastor Kee acknowledged that Rodena Prestor, assistant to The late, great, Rev, Dr. James Cleveland had inspired him to become the singer songwriter, producer that he is today. Pastor Kee vowed that he would celebrate the live of others for the rest of this year and next year. He dedicated the arrangement of Lord Do It a James Cleveland greatest hit to Rodena Preston.

After a few more high power praise songs, Pastor Kee proclaimed that he could still write songs for mass choirs. He then performed another New Life Fellowship favorite entitled "It Shall Be" and called about 75 people on stage with him (… and oh, my God). There is no adjective to describe the glorious sound of that mass choir repeating "IT SHALL BE". Rufus was so awesome. He sang a slow version of Right Now Praise. They ended the concert with that same selection. Pastor Kee gave Cardi Cortez the microphone and it was a rap. Pastor Kee prayed for the entire body. He seemed to sing out of his knees. Now Sanata Ana will never be the same.

It appears that we have been eating at some of the best restaurants. Pastor Kee took us to Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles that had to be the best food I had ever tasted in my life. We finished our dinner and Pastor took us for a brief exercise walk on the Pike at Long Beach. The ships, boats and scenery were beautiful. He took us to a small restaurant on the water to celebrate the early hours of Shannon’s Birthday. She was 22 years old. We only ordered desert and they were grateful. We’re on the way to Sacramento.

Sacramento, CA
We got to Sacramento about 8 o’clock. We went to Walmart. As everyone got off the bus, Pastor Kee gave everyone their weekly seed gift. I can’t tell you what was in each envelope, but I can tell you that they seemed mighty happy. We checked in the hotel and Pastor Kee took us to the same ice cream parlor, Leatherbee’s for lunch. It was great. They served the best ice cream I had ever tasted. This was a Christian family business that had been in existence for over 100 years.

We arrived at the concert at 7:30. The church reminds me of New Life on the inside. The pastor’s name was Joy Johnson. She was an awesome woman of God. She was not just excited that Pastor Kee was there, she seemed to be excited that the saints of God were all giving God glory. The concert was wonderful, exciting, and off the chain. Pastor Kee rocked like we hadn’t rocked all tour. Pastor had been honoring people all tour and tonight was no exception. His niece, Dee Kee was in attendance. She had been honored in Sacramento as Athletic Director of the Year, division II. Pastor Kee took a moment to mention that she was a hard working, woman of God who had excelled. Pastor Joy came up before the last selection and really ministered to the house. Pastor Kee prophetically spoke that she would be in Charlotte soon. The concert closed with a bang with I’ve Got a Right Now Praise. He fed us. We got a little and we are off to Oklahoma City.
John P. Kee & New Life TV One with Jeff Majors
It’s Saturday morning, October 7, 2006 and we arrived at the TV-One Recording Studios. Pastor Kee was very concerned because the temperature was very cold. He was then called to make-up. He begged them not to put too much on him, He continued to joke as they applied the make up. We understood. Our Pastor is not the make up type. Then they were off to the stage. They sang two wonderful songs, "Right Now Praise" (an upbeat praise and worship number) written and performed by Pastor Kee., They also sang "Build the House" (a slow moving praise and worship ballet) that has become a New Life Fellowship favorite.

As they exited the building, he was told that he would be interviewed by the famous Jeff Majors. As we walked past the green room we were greeted by a beautiful woman of God who we later determined was the one and only Cathy Hughes, multiple business owner of Radio One and TV One. She and Pastor Kee knew each other right away. She even remembered Shannon when she was a little girl where she and Pastor Kee both received diamond awards in Philadelphia, PA.

Pastor Kee completed his interview with Jeff Majors where their topic was reevaluating ones commitment to the industry. Know that this was the perfect subject for your pastor. As I listened, he handled the interview with a sense of grace, knowledge, confidence, and sensibility that only he could.

We'd like to thank all of the staff and production team of The Gospel of Music with Jeff Majors: Tonya Garnet, Redelia Shaw, Sharonda and everyone... you know who you are! You guys were wonderful! We look forward to working with you again for future tapings!

Pastor Kee took us to dinner at a fine restaurant near Fox Hill Mall. Mr. BOP changed the hose on the bus. Pastor Kee stated that he was very grateful that the hose did not burst in the desert. He also shared with us how coming out of Vegas a bolder had rolled out of the mountain into the road. The jolt that was felt the night prior was not a missed exit but the Lord had literally given His angles charge over our bus and we had escaped an opposition with a rock that could have been fatal.

Las Vegas, Nevada October 6, 2006
Friday - PASTOR JOHN P. KEE and the New Life Community Choir take there high powered praise and worship to the infamous Mountain Top Faith Ministries in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mountain Top Faith Ministries received them with a high energy audience at its maximum capacity.

Let's begin. Pastor Kee opened the worship with a beautiful song that allowed the people to know the GOD was "WELCOME" in that place. Pastor continued with "COME IN THE HOUSE."

Now it was time for Pastor Kee to do what he does best. The power of the Lord took over Mountain Top Faith Ministries as Pastor Kee and New Life bought their energetic sound into the place. Pastor Kee stayed true to his reputation of giving and seeded into a young lady during the service. The song that Mountain Top will never forget is entitled, "IT SHALL BE" which has been the theme for Pastor Kee, New Life and his church, the New Life Fellowship Center.

We're at the end of the concert and hundreds of people give their lives to Christ, which is Pastor Kee's joy in it all. We departed from Mountain Top and have dinner at the great "Monterrey Room." Now we leave there and prepare to go to Los Angeles, California and do it all over again.
